Many years back – probably almost a quarter-century ago – I discovered a somewhat obscure French beer. It was a favorite for years, then it sort of fell off the radar screen. A year or two back, I saw it again and had to find out why I was so enamored with Kronenbourg all those years ago.
I soon remembered – because it’s good! It’s not for winter consumption – this is a spring/summer beer. It is bright, almost a touch sweet, and very refreshing. It is easy-going and tasty without being “light” – well worth a try if you like a less hearty brew.
It’s almost enough to make you say, “Vive la France”!
